Richard Corrigan discussing everlasting cabbage with Trevor
Trevor’s garden had some rather special visitors today. The well-known celebrity chef Richard Corrigan arrived, accompanied by a film crew. They were preparing for what should be a very interesting and entertaining series to be shown on RTÉ soon.

Filming for Richard Corrigan's new series in Trevor's garden
In the program, Richard Corrigan will be travelling the country finding out what’s happening in food growing circles. Naturally, Trevor’s garden was a must-visit destination. Not only is Trevor Minister of State with responsibility for Food and Horticulture but he’s a very keen food-grower himself.
Richard had lots to say about Trevor’s vegetables and even offered some interesting suggestions for cooking them. He left with a basket of freshly picked leeks and other fine vegetables.
The first program in the series, which will feature Trevor, will be on the air on RTE 1 on April 21st at 20:30. Put that date in your diary now!
